Olivia Shipley

Olivia Shipley is an experienced social worker with a comprehensive background in children's services, currently serving as the Quality Assurance Manager for Children & Family Services at Hull City Council since June 2024. Additionally, Olivia contributes as a Committee Member for the British Association of Social Workers, participating in the International Social Work Committee and the Special Interest Group for Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children. Previous roles include Advanced Practitioner for Looked After and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children at North East Lincolnshire Council, and various positions at North Lincolnshire Council, including Child Protection Social Worker and Specialist Social Worker. Earlier experience includes work as a Student Social Worker and as an Education Inclusion Advisor. Olivia holds a Master's degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Leeds, along with A Levels in Law, Sociology, and English from John Leggott College.
