Carl Membery

Carl Membery is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the finance and banking sectors. Currently serving as a Director at the British Business Bank since March 2021, Carl also holds the position of Director and Trustee at Saint Cecilia's Academy Trust since September 2019. Previously, Carl dedicated over three decades to Lloyds Banking Group, where roles included PPI Director, Chief Operating Officer for Retail Banking Products, and Divisional Risk Officer. Additional experience includes serving as Chair of the Board Risk Committee and Non-Executive Director at Halifax Share Dealing Limited from June 2015 to November 2019, as well as an Advisory Board Member at Kingston University until September 2019. Carl earned an MBA from Kingston University between 2003 and 2005, following education at Bournemouth Grammar School.
