Dorothy D. Barkley

Dorothy D. Barkley is an accomplished association management executive with over 20 years of experience in administration, governance, program development, revenue generation, and stakeholder relationship management. Current roles include serving on the Discipline Committees of the College of Opticians of British Columbia and the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, as well as the Inquiry Committee for the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. Dorothy has held significant positions such as Principal at D. D. Barkley & Associates and Executive Director for both the Architecture Foundation of BC and the Architectural Institute of BC. Notable achievements include leading the successful amalgamation of the BC Construction Safety Alliance and driving operational and financial success at the Architectural Institute of BC. Educational credentials include studies at The University of British Columbia and Ivey Business School at Western University.
