Roddy Morrison

Roddy Morrison currently serves as the Director of Information Technology at the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, overseeing the regulatory framework for nursing and midwifery in British Columbia since January 2023. Previously, Roddy held roles in software engineering, data science, and ocean observation at Scoot Science from February 2021 to April 2023. Roddy's extensive experience in the IT field includes positions as Digital Innovation & Business IT Manager at Skretting North America from 2011 to 2021, IT Director and IT Manager at Marine Harvest Canada from 2003 to 2010, and Business Systems Analyst at Stolt Sea Farm from 2000 to 2003. Roddy completed studies in Computer Science, obtaining a BSc from Heriot-Watt University and the University of Strathclyde, with additional education from the University of Glasgow.
