Sheila Reynolds

Sheila Reynolds is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public engagement, internal and external communications, and digital strategy. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Advisor at BC Ferries since November 2024, Sheila previously held managerial roles at Surrey Schools (School District #36 Surrey) from June 2016 to November 2024, where responsibilities included relationship building, crises management, and coaching. Earlier roles at Surrey Schools allowed Sheila to develop proactive communications strategies as an Assistant Manager and deliver internal and external communications as a Communications Officer. Sheila's career includes freelance writing for non-profit organizations and a tenure as an award-winning Editor/Reporter at Black Press Media from 1997 to April 2016. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of British Columbia and a degree in Journalism from Langara College.
