Katherine Louman-Gardiner is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the utility sector, currently serving as Sr Manager - CADD at BC Hydro since July 2013, focusing on enhancing enterprise design capabilities. Katherine's previous roles at BC Hydro include Sr Engineer for Future Grid and Modernization, where a climate change adaptation strategy for infrastructure was developed, and Asset Manager for Lines Strategy and Standards, overseeing a diverse portfolio of transmission assets and managing substantial project budgets. Additional experience encompasses technical reviews for energy savings initiatives and mechanical engineering projects at Smith + Andersen Falcon and Flow Consulting Group Inc. Katherine is also an ambassador for the MS Society of BC and holds an MBA in Management of Technology from Simon Fraser University, along with multiple engineering degrees from the University of Calgary and The University of British Columbia.
