Aklima Mili

Aklima Mili currently serves as a Manager at the British Council, focusing on enhancing senior management's involvement in safeguarding initiatives since August 2022. Prior to this role, Mili worked at ActionAid Bangladesh from February 2016 to August 2022, first as Manager of Safeguarding and Capacity Development, where recommendations for safeguarding policy improvements were presented to leadership, and previously as Deputy Manager of Human Resources and Organizational Development, managing various HR functions and staff engagement activities. Mili's career also includes experience at Plan International as a Capacity Building Coordinator, Capacity Building Officer, and Deputy Area Coordinator from July 2012 to February 2016, where responsibilities ranged from training to community mobilization. Aklima Mili holds multiple degrees, including a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Bangladesh Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Laws from National University of Bangladesh, among others.
