Catharine Thompson

Catharine Thompson currently serves as the Head of Individual Giving at the British Council since March 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Interim Head of Patrons at Serpentine Galleries from July 2021 to March 2022, Senior Patrons Manager at Tate from November 2019 to July 2021, and Head of Sales at Rise Art from January 2019 to November 2019. Additionally, Catharine worked as VIP Client Relations Manager at The New Craftsmen from January 2017 to January 2019, and held positions as an Art Consultant at Halcyon Gallery from November 2012 to February 2018 and at Artique Gallery from February 2010 to November 2012. Educational background includes attendance at New Hall School.
