Phillip Bashford

Phillip Bashford is an experienced educator with a comprehensive background in English language training, academic management, and teacher development. Currently serving as the Head of Adults and Professional Skills Trainer at British Council since October 2021, Phillip previously held positions such as Senior Academic Manager and Teacher Trainer across various international locations. With expertise in designing state education interventions and managing teacher training programs, Phillip has contributed significantly to initiatives with the British Council in countries like Tunisia, Algeria, and South Korea. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in TESOL from Lancaster University and a Diploma in TESOL from Trinity College London. Phillip has also led various CELTA and ICELT courses and has extensive experience in EFL/ESP instruction.
