Sandra Honess

Sandra Honess currently serves as the Head Of Legal at the British Council, leading the legal team that supports the organization's global activities, while engaging with the Charity Commission and Their Majesty’s Government. Prior to this role, Sandra held significant positions at NBC Universal as VP, International Compliance Lead and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, and at Alexander Mann Solutions as Interim General Counsel. Sandra also worked at Aon for nearly a decade in various legal capacities, including Deputy Chief Counsel for Aon Risk Solutions and European General Counsel. Early career positions include Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and its Legal division, and Senior Lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP, focusing on media, IT, e-commerce, and privacy law. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Sheffield and completed the Law Society Finals at the College of Law, Guildford.
