Alessandro Novellino is a Remote Sensing Geoscientist at the British Geological Survey since February 2017, previously serving as a Geoscientist at Geomatic Ventures Limited from October 2015 to January 2017. Alessandro completed a PhD at the University of Naples Federico II from March 2012 to May 2015, focusing on Multi-temporal InSAR analysis for slow-moving landslide detection and monitoring. Additional experience includes roles as a Visiting PhD Student at The University of Nottingham and the British Geological Survey, both involving advanced processing and analysis of MTInSAR data. Earlier training includes an MSc traineeship at INGV, where Alessandro conducted geological and kinematic modeling of landslides. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Geology/Earth Science and a Master’s degree in structural geology from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
