Amelia Baptie

Amelia Baptie is an experienced professional in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and digital project management. Currently serving as the Digital Challenge Programme Manager at the British Geological Survey since June 2005, Amelia oversees all aspects of programme management, budgetary and staff resource management, as well as the development and implementation of corporate systems and processes. Previously, Amelia held roles such as Senior Project Manager (GIS) at BGS, Corporate GIS Developer for the City of London, GIS Analyst at JBA Consulting, and Geo-Assistant at EDINA. Amelia's educational background includes a degree in Geography and a postgraduate degree in Geographic Information Science, both from the University of Edinburgh.
