Charlotte Hipkiss

Stable Isotope Research Assistant at British Geological Survey

Charlotte Hipkiss is a Stable Isotope Research Assistant at the British Geological Survey since July 2023. Prior to this role, Charlotte served as a Teaching Fellow and Postgraduate Demonstrator at the University of Southampton from September 2018 to May 2023. Charlotte also completed a research placement at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from January 2022 to March 2022 and participated in an industry placement at the British Geological Survey from July 2021 to October 2021. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Ocean and Earth Science from the University of Southampton (2018-2023), a Master of Science in Environmental Monitoring, Modelling and Reconstruction from The University of Manchester (2015-2017), and a Bachelor of Arts in Historical Studies and Built and Natural Environments from The University of Manchester (2010-2013).
