Nick Roberts

Research Scientist at British Geological Survey

Nick Roberts has extensive experience in geological research, currently serving as a Research Scientist at the British Geological Survey since June 2010, where responsibilities include managing a LA-ICP-MS laboratory and developing methodologies for earth and environmental science. Previously, Nick held the position of Research Support Scientist, focusing on analytical techniques related to U-series and U-Th-Pb geochronology and training students in LA-ICP-MS projects. Nick's earlier role involved designing and developing blackboard materials for the geology department at the University of Leicester in 2006. Nick earned a Ph.D. in Geology and a Master’s degree in Geology from the University of Leicester, completing the latter in 2006.
