Alex Kenney

Alex Kenney is a seasoned public affairs professional with extensive experience in advocating for health and environmental issues. Currently serving as Senior Public Affairs Manager at the British Heart Foundation since December 2019, Alex has held various roles including Interim Head of Public Affairs and Public Affairs Manager. Prior experience includes advocacy coordination at WaterAid, where Alex developed parliamentary strategies to promote global access to clean water, and serving as Public Affairs Officer at Cancer Research UK, focusing on childhood obesity initiatives. Alex's earlier career involved rebranding efforts at Policy-UK, management of a parliamentary campaign for the Labour Party, and leadership of the Westminster Higher Education Forum. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in History & Politics from Swansea University.
