Maggie Morgan-Valentine

Maggie Morgan-Valentine has a strong background in equality, diversity, and inclusion. Maggie currently holds the position of Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the British Heart Foundation since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust from September 2020 to September 2022 as the Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.

Before their roles in the healthcare industry, Maggie worked at the West London NHS Trust, where they held the position of Head of Diversity from July 2003 to September 2020. Additionally, they served as an Interim Head of Talent Management & Inclusion for a 6-month period in 2016.

Maggie'searlier work experience includes a role as a Trainee Solicitor at the Commission for Racial Equality from September 2001 to June 2003, specializing in Employment Law, Discrimination Law, Civil Litigation, and Human Rights. Maggie also worked as a Legal Compliance Officer at the London School of Economics from September 2000 to August 2001.

Maggie Morgan-Valentine earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Economics from the University of East London from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended Northumberland Park Community School from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained 3 A-levels and 9 GCSEs in Sociology, Economics, and English Literature.
