Dr. Chiara Trabacchi

Dr. Chiara Trabacchi serves as the Climate Change Manager and Adaptation & Resilience lead at British International Investment since January 2021, focusing on climate adaptation and resilience investing while developing a climate risk rating system. Prior to this role, Dr. Trabacchi held positions as a Climate and Sustainable Finance Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank and at the International Finance Corporation, working to build the capacity of financial institutions in managing climate-related risks. Dr. Trabacchi has also contributed to climate finance through advisory services at IDB Invest and has led climate adaptation initiatives at the Climate Policy Initiative. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Science and Management of Climate Change from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia and a degree in Business Administration and Management from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
