Guillermo Ruiz Álvarez is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in information security and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Engineer at Amadeus since August 2019, Guillermo has also held roles as an Information Security Engineer and Software Development Engineer within the same company. Prior experience includes a position as a Software Verification Engineer at Xilinx, where development of C/C++/OpenCL applications for FPGA acceleration was a key focus. Guillermo's career began with backend development in a SCRUM team at ALTEN and includes freelancing in real estate investment web application development. Earlier work includes software maintenance and GUI development during an internship at SENER. Guillermo holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, along with a Master of Engineering in Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence from Universidad de Málaga.
