Catherine Taylor

Catherine joined British Sugar in early 2019 from Marston’s PLC where she spent four years as Group People Director, responsible for transforming its people practices.

She has worked within a range of multinational companies during a varied career, including Unilever, RS Components and Mercedes-Benz and has a breadth of experience across factory, distribution, sales, retail, head office and corporate environments.

Here at British Sugar, Catherine is responsible for leading the strategy to put people at the heart of a thriving homegrown sugar industry, through growing talent across the business and establishing a high performance, customer-focused culture.
