Ali Jawad PLY is an experienced professional in the field of anti-doping and athlete representation. Currently serving as a Guest Lecturer at the University of East London School of Health, Sport and Bioscience since March 2019, Ali focuses on anti-doping, sports governance, and athlete representation. Concurrently, Ali is involved with UK Anti-Doping as an educator, delivering workshops to athletes and support personnel regarding anti-doping responsibilities. As an athlete representative on the UK Anti-Doping Athlete Commission and the Commonwealth Games England board, Ali advocates for fellow athletes' views and concerns. Additionally, Ali holds a position as an athlete representative for British Weight Lifting and the British Paralympic Association. Currently pursuing a PhD in Anti-Doping at the University of Birmingham, Ali’s academic background includes a degree from Leeds Beckett University.
