Ce Gao

Ce Gao is an accomplished investigator at Brigham and Women's Hospital and an instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School since September 2022. Additionally, Ce Gao serves as a research scientist at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard and an associated scientist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, roles held since July 2017 and August 2018, respectively. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral research fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center from February 2016 to July 2017 and a research assistant position at Northeastern University from September 2008 to February 2016. An internship at Merck in late 2014 involved developing computational methods for next-generation sequencing data analysis. Ce Gao holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering (Bioinformatics) from Northeastern University. Expertise includes designing machine learning algorithms for gene expression time series analysis on high-throughput toxicogenomic data.
