Kaifu Chen is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in cancer research, epi-genomics, gene regulation, and bioinformatics. Currently serving as an Affiliate Member at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and a Full Member at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center since August 2021, Kaifu Chen also holds the position of Associate Professor at Harvard University and Director of the Computational Biology Program at Boston Children's Hospital since November 2020. Kaifu Chen's previous roles include Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Cornell University from August 2015 to October 2020, and Director of the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at Houston Methodist from 2015 to 2020. Kaifu Chen began a postdoctoral associate position at Baylor College of Medicine from 2009 to 2015 after earning a PhD in Genetics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009, following a B.S. in Physics from Nankai University in 2004.
