Siddarth Wekhande

Siddarth Wekhande is a seasoned computational biologist with extensive experience in data analysis and bioinformatics. Currently serving as a Senior Associate Computational Biologist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, Siddarth focuses on data processing for Mint-ChIP data and cloud infrastructure for ENCODE submissions. Previous experience includes a Bioinformatics Co-op at GSK, where Siddarth developed custom pipelines for RNAseq analysis and created an interactive Shiny platform for data visualization. As a Research Specialist at Penn State University, involvement included developing applications for genomic data analysis and innovating a computational model for ChIP-seq normalization. Early career roles encompassed web development and campaign leadership, complemented by a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Genomics from Penn State University and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.
