Tina Kane

Tina Kane is an experienced IT professional with a comprehensive background in systems administration, currently serving as a Senior Principal Systems Administrator at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since October 2006. In this role, Tina leads the management of the VMware virtualization environment and Windows Operating Systems, ensuring system availability and security while overseeing data archival in Google Cloud. Previous experience includes significant contributions to VMware, Active Directory, and Windows Server infrastructure, as well as key leadership in major data center relocations and large-scale VMware re-architecture projects. Tina began her career at SPSS, where responsibilities included server administration and disaster recovery. Tina holds a Master’s degree in Gender and Cultural Studies from Simmons University, a Certificate in PC Service and Support from Boston University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Vermont.
