Randy Brown is currently the VP of Finance at BMI. Prior to their current position, they served as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Asurion from January 2004 to December 2006. In this role, they were responsible for developing and consolidating corporate-wide budgeting and forecasting models for a $1 billion business. Randy also developed "bottoms up" budgeting and forecasting models for a $300 million manufacturing and distribution organization, 800-employee call center, and corporate-wide space planning. In addition, they were responsible for monthly comprehensive corporate forecasting, modeling and recommendation of corporate-wide compensation, building the company's first comprehensive pricing model, preparing quarterly Board of Directors' packages, preparing reporting packages for a $200 million credit facility, and preparing ad hoc analysis for the CFO, CEO, and Board of Directors.
Prior to their role at Asurion, Randy Brown served as the Director of Business Operations at Cingular Wireless from January 1998 to December 2004. In this role, they were responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to: leading a team in the development of new business processes and procedures, analyzing and improving existing business processes, developing project plans and timelines, coordinating projects across departments, preparing reports for upper management, and more.
Randy Brown completed an MBA at Tennessee Technological University and then later completed a degree in finance from the same school. Randy also attended Morristown-Hamblen Highschool West.
