Tony Marrone

Tony Marrone is an experienced technician in the broadcasting industry with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Field Video / RF / Audio / Fiber Technician at Broadcast Sports International, LLC, since December 2017, Tony provides RF camera and communications support to major sports networks, including CBS Sports and ESPN. Since June 2012, Tony has been a Freelance Transmission / Acquisitions Engineer for MLB Network and NHL Network, focusing on quality control and audio mapping of incoming feeds. Previous roles include managerial positions at Fox News, overseeing digital video production and technical operations, and serving as a Broadcast Technical Operations Manager for the NBA. Tony's technical expertise is complemented by freelance engineering experience at various companies, including Thomson Reuters and NBCUniversal. Educational background includes training at the Institute of Audio Research and Carpenters Labor Technical College.
