Eliot Franklin

Eliot Franklin is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in security architecture and chip design, currently serving as a Master Engineer at Broadcom Limited since November 2014. Previously, Eliot held key positions at Entropic Communications as a Principal Engineer and Senior Manager in Security Hardware Architecture and Security ASIC Design, respectively, leading teams and managing the architecture of set-top box chips. Additional experience includes senior management roles at Trident Microsystems and NXP Semiconductors, focusing on digital engineering and ASIC design for security and transport subsystems. Eliot began a career at Conexant and IBM, where foundational work included ASIC design and product engineering. Eliot holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Syracuse University and the University of Virginia, respectively.
