Zen Menon

Zen is the CEO of one of Broadtree's portfolio companies. Zen is a serial entrepreneur, and over the past 6 years has built, consulted for, and sold multiple startups. Zen has over 16 years of operating, design, marketing and supply chain experience in technology and healthcare products and services with particular expertise in System Design, Business Development, Fundraising, Product management, Manufacturing, M&A and Digital transformation.

Zen’s entrepreneurial journey began with the creation and sale of his technology-based healthcare startup that focused on patient monitoring for dementia and Alzheimer's care patients. Later on, he worked for multiple startups in the Internet of things, medical devices, social apps, and educational technology spaces as a Head of Product Management and Business Development. Zen’s previous career involved building products for his customers at Texas instruments and Microchip Technology, specializing in Consumer and Industrial Products, Semiconductor Manufacturing, and Medical devices.

Zen graduated from Arizona State University with a Double Masters in Electrical Engineering and Cognitive Psychology, and earned his MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
