Jeff Nelson

Jeff Nelson serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Broadway Bank since August 2012. Prior experience includes a role as a Lecturer in the Department of Finance at The University of Texas at San Antonio from December 2012 to May 2020, where Jeff taught Principles of Investment at the undergraduate level and Investment Theory & Problems at the graduate level. Jeff's earlier career includes positions as a Wealth Management Advisor at USAA from October 2010 to August 2012 and as a Financial Advisor with The Retirement Wealth Coach from February 2005 to October 2010. A military background as a Military Officer in the United States Air Force from January 1985 to April 2005 involved serving as a KC-135 Aircraft Commander/Instructor and Evaluator Pilot, along with responsibilities in military leadership and weapon system acquisition. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University and multiple degrees in related fields from Kansas State University, Abilene Christian University, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
