Lauren Weigel

Lauren Weigel has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Lauren is currently serving as the Vice President & General Manager - Direct to Consumer at Broan-NuTone since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Product Management - North America at the same company from March 2020 to January 2022. Lauren also held the position of Global Category Director - Household Ventilation from June 2017 to March 2020 and Global Category Manager - Exhaust Ventilation from August 2016 to June 2017 at Broan-NuTone.

Before joining Broan-NuTone, Lauren was the President of the Board of Directors at the Home Improvement Research Institute from September 2019. Lauren started their career as an Industrial Designer at Generac Power Systems in August 2009 and later assumed the roles of Product Manager - Portable Generators and Senior Product Manager - Portable Generators. At Generac, they were responsible for managing multiple product lines and delivering innovation to increase market share.

Additionally, Lauren worked as an Assistant Professor of Industrial Design - Tenure Track at Auburn University from August 2013 to July 2014. Lauren led industry-sponsored studios and co-chaired a summit called OPENGROUND, which focused on design thinking, social entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Earlier in their career, Lauren also gained experience as a Product Manager - Measuring & Layout Tools at Milwaukee Tool, where they successfully launched Milwaukee-branded products in global markets and implemented a multi-year product strategy to drive category growth through disruptive innovation.

Lauren Weigel has pursued their education in the field of Industrial Design. Lauren attended Auburn University, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design (BSEV). Furthering their expertise, Lauren then pursued a Masters in Industrial Design from the same university.
