Lois Stokes is an accounting and finance professional with over 25 years of experience in public accounting, internal audit, project management, accounting and finance. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lehigh University in 1987 with a B.S. in Accounting, receiving her Certified Public Accountant designation in 1989 (currently inactive status). She began her career in Washington D.C. with Ernst & Whinney as an auditor in public accounting, specializing in service clients, particularly in the Finance sector. She also worked for Banner Life Insurance Company as an Internal Auditor before joining the accounting and SEC reporting team for Standard Federal Saving Bank.

Lois moved to North Carolina in 1993 and spent 13 years with US Airways as the Director of Revenue Recognition & Analysis, specializing in major system conversions and project management. While at US Airways she was responsible for implementing Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for all revenue accounting functions. She joined the FedEx family of companies in 2006 where she was responsible for the accounting and finance functions for a subsidiary freight company including documentation of processes for ISO 2001 compliance. She was a Controller in the FedEx Latin American and Caribbean Division responsible for the integration of the freight company with FedEx Express, and was the accounting leader of expansion of services to the country of Colombia.

Since joining Brock and Scott, PLLC in 2013, Lois is responsible for all accounting and finance functions, customer billing, human resources, training, payroll and benefits administration.
