Joren de Ruig has extensive work experience in various industries. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Logistiek Medewerker at Gelre ziekenhuizen. Joren then gained experience as a Marketingstagiair at Podium & Filmtheater Gigant in 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Nachtportier at Best Western Hotels & Resorts Belgium & The Netherlands. Joren then joined Stadsschouwburg De Harmonie as Horeca en toerisme from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, Joren worked as a Stagiair-Productieassistent at Evangelische Omroep, and simultaneously as a Servicemedewerker at Media Markt. Joren then transitioned to bol.com in 2017, working as a Partner Specialist Logistiek until 2019. Following this, they had a brief stint at Gall & Gall as a Verkoper before joining Brockmeyer as a Customer Success Manager in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Support at Brockmeyer from October 2022. Joren's experience spans roles in logistics, marketing, customer service, hospitality, and sales.

Joren de Ruig has a diverse education history. Joren started their educational journey in 2006, attending Koninklijke scholengemeenschap, where they pursued a degree in HAVO with a focus on Economie en Maatschappij. Joren successfully completed this program in 2011.

After completing HAVO, Joren de Ruig furthered their education by enrolling in Stenden University. From 2011 to 2018, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Media en entertainment management. Joren successfully obtained their Bachelor's degree in August 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Joren de Ruig also obtained several certifications. In October 2015, they received a certification in Consumenten kooprecht from Media Markt. In August 2018, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from NHL Stenden Hogeschool. Furthermore, in October 2020, they acquired a certification in SVH Sociale Hygiëne Slijters from SVH (Stichting Vakbekwaamheid Horeca). It is worth mentioning that Joren de Ruig also acquired a certification in Havo economie en maatschappij from Koninklijke Scholengemeenschap Apeldoorn, but the month and year of obtaining this certification are unknown.
