Stephanie Barrett has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Stephanie started their career in 2003 as a Crew Chief at Landmark Archaeology, Inc. and worked there until 2007. Stephanie then joined Sustainable Performance Consulting, Inc. as a Senior Project Coordinator/LEED Consultant and stayed there for ten years until 2017. During this time, they also worked at the University at Buffalo as a Graduate Student Reference Assistant and a Special Collections Processing Assistant from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, Stephanie joined the University of Rochester as an Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Outreach Librarian and continued in this role until 2021. Stephanie then transitioned to the Brockport Research Institute, initially working as a Grant Writer from 2019 to 2021, before assuming the roles of Project Manager, Grants Manager, and currently Director of Grants.
Stephanie Barrett has a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science, which they obtained from the University at Buffalo Graduate School from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in World History and Anthropology at the University at Albany, SUNY, from 2000 to 2003. Stephanie also briefly studied at the University of Galway in 2002, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for that period. In addition to their formal education, Stephanie has obtained a certification in LEED GA from USGBC, the specific date of which is not provided.
