Julie Baumgarten Donato

Julie Baumgarten Donato has an extensive work experience in the creative field. Julie started as an Editorial Design Intern at The Boston Phoenix in 1999 and then worked as a Graphic Design Intern at Hill Holliday in 2000. Julie continued their career as a Graphic Designer at Bits and Pieces Catalog from 2000 to 2002 and then moved on to OTTN Publishing where they worked as a Graphic Designer from 2002 to 2004.

Julie then worked at Domsky and Simon Advertising as a Senior Graphic Designer from 2004 to 2007, where they managed a team of freelance designers and designed various print marketing materials. Following that, they joined Bodek and Rhodes as a Senior Art Director from 2007 to 2016. Here, they were responsible for managing the production, design, and art direction of their annual wholesale catalog and led creative campaigns for their private wholesale clothing label, Ultraclub.

In 2014, Julie took on the role of Contract Creative Director at Big Chef Tom's Belly Burgers, where they conceptualized and executed a creative campaign for the launch of their first physical store. Julie led a team of designers, photographers, copywriters, and web designers to create marketing collateral and digital materials.

Most recently, Julie has been working at alphabroder since 2016. Julie initially started as a Senior Art Director and is currently serving as their Creative Services Director.

Julie Baumgarten Donato attended Boston University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Julie'smajor was Graphic Design.
