Derek Drake

Derek Drake is an experienced professional in student activities coordination, currently serving as the Coordinator of Student Activities at Broken Arrow Public Schools since September 2017. Prior to this role, Derek held the same position at Connors State College from February 2015 to December 2017. Additional experience includes serving as a Student Ministries Intern at The Assembly at Broken Arrow, where leadership and service were offered primarily during summers but continued year-round, and managing and training staff at Java Dave's, a family-owned coffee shop in Tulsa, from January 2011 to December 2013. Derek also owned and managed The Shiver Shack, aimed at providing relief from the heat during Oklahoma summers, from March 2009 to September 2013. Derek holds a degree in Organizational/Interpersonal Communications from Oral Roberts University, earned between 2009 and 2013.
