Steve Becker

Steve Becker is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and diagnostics sectors. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Broken String Biosciences, Steve previously held key positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, including Senior Director of Molecular Diagnostics Licensing and Commercial Supply, and later as Director of Sales & Marketing for Athena Diagnostics, Inc. At Quest Diagnostics, Steve advanced through roles such as Managing Director of Sales & Marketing for Global Markets and Executive Director of International Commercial Genetics, as well as serving as General Manager for Brazil and Canada. Steve also contributed to RainDance Technologies as Vice President of Commercial Operations. Educationally, Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Saint Mary's College of California and completed an Executive Program in Value Measurement for Healthcare at Harvard Business School.
