Ami Shah

Ami Shah is a highly experienced physician specializing in robotic surgery, currently serving as the Director of Robotic Surgery at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center since July 2014. Previously, Ami Shah held the position of Director of Robotic Surgery-Benign Gynecology and AAGL Fellowship Director at Mount Sinai Health System from September 2009 to May 2014. Additional experience includes Co-Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery and Director of Robotic Surgery at the University of Miami, as well as a senior staff physician and assistant professor at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. Ami Shah began medical training as a resident at Boston Medical Center from 2000 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Microbiology and Women's Studies from the University of Michigan.
