Abigail Ring

Abigail Ring is currently a Development Associate at BronxWorks. Before that, they were at CitySpace, Inc. from June 2019 to September 2019 as a Development Associate. There, they completed donor research and updated constituent records. Abigail also met with the organization's president each week to discuss possible prospects and donor cultivation. From September 2018 to May 2020, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. There, they provided administrative support to the Professor of Clarinet and clarinet studio and taught students upon Professor's absence, among other duties. Abigail also developed curriculum for a Music Education course taught each Spring and executed that course. Additionally, they assisted with planning and marketing of studio guest artist events as well as implemented a novel, full-day festival hosted by the studio on campus. In May 2019, they were also a Box Office Associate at Spoleto Festival USA.

Abigail Ring has a Master's degree in Music Performance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Abigail also has a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance & Business Administration from the State University of New York at Fredonia. Abigail has certification from LinkedIn in Nonprofit Customer Relationship Management with Salesforce. Abigail also has certification from Arts Extension Service, UMass Amherst in Arts Nonprofit Management Certificate. Finally, Abigail has certification from Coursera Course Certificates in Music and Social Action.
