Deb Mace has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Deb started their career as a Restaurant Manager at Rainforest Cafe in 1996. Deb then transitioned into the education field and worked as a Teacher at Indian Prairie School District from 1997 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Central DuPage Hospital and worked as a Patient Access Specialist until 2010, when they became an Epic Principal Trainer until 2012. Deb also worked as an Epic Consultant at Iowa Health System in 2012. From 2011 to the present, they have held various roles as an Epic Cadence Principal Trainer at Northwestern Medicine, Yale New Haven Hospital, and currently at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. As a Cadence Instructional Designer & Principal Trainer, their responsibilities include developing post Go-Live role-based curriculum, supporting new users, troubleshooting system errors, and providing workflow tips and shortcuts.
Deb Mace earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University in 1998 and a Masters degree in Education from National Louis University in 2007.
