Maliya Rodriguez

Maliya Rodriguez is an experienced educator currently serving as a 6th Grade Math and Science Teacher and Associate Teacher at Brooke Charter Schools since July 2021. Previously, Maliya worked as a Home Health Aide at FreedomCare from September 2020 to July 2021 and as an Administrative Intern at Brooklyn Arbor Elementary School during the summer of 2020. Maliya also has a history of volunteer work with Inspiring Minds and has held various roles in educational settings, including Student Supervisor at Brown University Dining Services and Teaching Fellow with Generation Teach. Additional experience includes facilitating workshops and peer education on sexual health through Sexual Health Advocacy and the Brown University Center for Students of Color. Maliya holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Brown University, earned in 2021, along with an Advanced Regents Diploma from Elmont Memorial High School, completed in 2017.
