Alex Blumenthal

Alex Blumenthal has a diverse work experience in the financial and real estate industries. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Summer Intern at RD Management LLC. In 2008, they also completed a Summer Internship at D.E. Shaw & Co. Alex then joined D.E. Shaw & Co. as a Trade Accounting and Operations Associate in 2009, where they worked until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked in U.S. Trading - Equities at Och-Ziff Capital Management. In 2015 and 2016, they completed MBA Internships at Churchill Credit Holdings / Ram Island Holdings and DRA Advisors LLC, respectively. Alex then joined Clarion Partners LLC as an Acquisitions Associate from 2017 to 2019. Alex subsequently worked at Hunt Companies, Inc as an Associate in Real Estate Equity and Debt from 2019 to 2021, and later as a Vice President in the same department until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President at Brookfield Asset Management.

Alex Blumenthal attended Tufts University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Communications. Alex then pursued further education at NYU Stern School of Business from 2015 to 2017, completing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Real Estate & Finance.
