Paula Horn

Paula Horn has extensive experience in the finance industry. Paula is currently serving as the Managing Director, President, and Chief Investment Officer of the Public Securities Group at Brookfield Asset Management since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Investment Officer and Chief Investment Officer Fixed Income at ZCM from February 2009 to October 2021.

Before joining ZCM, Paula was the President of DeSari Capital from September 2007 to February 2009. Paula also worked as the Managing Director, Investment Grade Credit at Deerfield Capital Management from 2000 to 2007, where they were responsible for managing a high-grade/high-yield/derivative hedge fund and overseeing the investment grade CDO business.

Paula's earlier experience includes working as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Zurich Scudder Investments from 1994 to 2000 and serving as a Consultant at Thomson Financial from 1990 to 1994.

Paula Horn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Tufts University in 1990. Paula later pursued a Master's in Management (MM) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, completing their studies in 1999.
