Renee Weaver Requena, CPA, currently serves as a Registered Representative and Financial Literacy Coach at Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc. since August 2019, focusing on training individuals to achieve their entrepreneurship goals. Prior experience includes notable roles such as Senior Director of FP&A MIS Strategy & Transformation at AIG from July 2012 to July 2019, and Vice President of Control/Compliance at Citigroup from July 2005 to July 2012. Additionally, Renee held various positions in financial reporting and auditing at Foot Locker, Arthur Andersen LLP, TeamAlliance Technology Partners, LP, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Borek, Stockel & Marden from 1990 to 2005. Renee holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting and Information Systems, and Economics from Queens College.
