Julie Xi has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Julie began their career as a Senior Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young in 2014, where they worked until May 2016. After that, they joined Capstone Infrastructure Corporation as an Assistant Manager of Finance from June 2016 to December 2018, and then as a Manager of Finance from January 2019 to May 2019. Julie then moved to Brookfield Renewable in July 2019, initially as a Manager of Finance until December 2021, and then as a Director of Finance from January 2022 to June 2023. Currently, they are the Director of Finance at Brookfield Asset Management, starting from July 2023.
Julie Xi holds an International Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Julie also has a certification as a CPA, CA from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
