Wendy Belser

Wendy Belser is an experienced philanthropy professional with over 30 years of leadership in development roles within prominent cultural institutions. Currently serving as Vice President of Philanthropy at Brookgreen Gardens since January 2011, Wendy oversees various income programs that support operations, annual events, and special projects, including a membership base of 9,900 households. Previous positions include Director of Development at The MacDowell Colony, Director of Development and Communications at Old Westbury Gardens, and multiple director-level roles at the Whitney Museum of American Art and The Museum of Modern Art. Wendy holds an M.A. in Art History from Columbia University and a B.A. in Art History from Wellesley College.
