Daniel Cisek

Daniel Cisek has been a Guest Scientist at Brookhaven National Laboratory since June 2015, focusing on deep learning and computer vision research. Previously, Cisek served as an intern in the Nonproliferation and National Security Department at BNL, collaborating on imagery analysis and object detection projects and authoring a report on satellite imagery change detection. Cisek's early internship at BNL involved designing a graphical framework for communicating a country's nuclear facilities status to IAEA inspectors. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Data Science & Analytics from Georgetown Graduate Studies, a Graduate Certificate in Data Science & Analytics from the University of Missouri-Columbia, an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Science from Stony Brook University, and a Bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph's University New York.
