Brookhaven National Laboratory
Elizabeth Brost is a physicist and associate scientist at Brookhaven National Laboratory, currently engaged in research at CERN on the ATLAS experiment, focusing on Higgs pair production within the Standard Model and beyond. Previously, Elizabeth served as a postdoctoral research associate at Northern Illinois University, also working on the ATLAS experiment, where the emphasis was on searching for BSM Higgs to photons and b-jets. Elizabeth's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Oregon, where the thesis topic centered on the search for FCNC in ttbar events with ATLAS, and a B.A. in Physics and French from Grinnell College. Additional contributions to the ATLAS Collaboration include expertise in tau/e/gamma trigger operations and data quality assessment for the High Level Trigger.
