Mickey Chiu

Mickey Chiu is an accomplished physicist with extensive experience in high-energy physics research, currently holding positions at Brookhaven National Laboratory, NEXO Collaboration, and PHENIX and sPHENIX Collaborations since the late 1990s. Prior to these roles, significant academic involvement included a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mickey also has a background in Unix system administration at Prudential Securities, where responsibilities involved supporting computer systems and database management. Educationally, Mickey Chiu earned a PhD in Physics from Columbia University and a BA in Physics from Bowdoin College, complemented by studies at The City College of New York.
