Christopher Watson

Christopher Watson is an experienced digital media and events coordinator currently at The Brookings Institution. Prior to this role, Christopher served as a virtual and off-site event coordinator at East City Bookshop, where responsibilities included transitioning to virtual events during COVID-19 and leading numerous author events. Additional experience includes roles as a frontline bookseller at Solid State Books, freelance writer and marketer, and community manager at FieldLens. Christopher's background in education includes teaching English Language Arts and participating in digital transformation initiatives. Academic qualifications include a BA in Literature, an MA in Secondary Language Arts Education, and graduate studies in Special Education at The University of Alabama.
