Elijah Asdourian

Elijah Asdourian is a senior research assistant at The Brookings Institution, focusing on fiscal and monetary policy. Previous experience includes serving as a research assistant at the same center, a mathematics instructor at Juni Learning, and a Humanities at Hertog fellow. Elijah has also held positions such as data analysis and policy intern at the Housing Assistance Council, academic assistant at MetroSquash, special projects contractor at the Federal Public Defender, and undergraduate research fellow at the National League of Cities. Additional early roles include investigative intern at the Federal Public Defender, restaurant team member at KFC, and volunteer tutor at Wide Angle Youth Media. Elijah earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and History from the University of Chicago, following a high school diploma from The Park School of Baltimore.
